Renold Torque Transmission is Exhibiting at InnoTrans 2012
Renold Torque Transmission is exhibiting at InnoTrans, the International Trade Fair for Transport Technology, 18-21 September in Berlin, Germany.
You can find us in Hall 20, Stand 114.
Renold is using the show to promote its range of mass transit gearboxes and couplings.
As the global demand for efficient public transportation continues to increase, Renold has demonstrated its extensive knowledge in the design and manufacture of gearboxes and couplings for use by the leading manufacturers of locomotives, mass transit rail vehicles and maintenance operators.
Renold's Rail Technology range is designed by industry recognised engineers using the latest Solid 3-D Parametric Design Technology at Renold's Rail Technology Centre of Excellence, and supported by its engineering teams around the world when required. Manufacturing takes place in strategic manufacturing facilities in North America, Europe, Africa and Asia, dependant on the projects local content requirements.
Renold uses finite element analysis in conjunction with 3-D solid modelling of critical components to guarantee that stress levels are within acceptable limits to ensure safe operation and long life. The highest quality alloy steels are specified and all mass transit components have total traceability with complete material certification.
Inspection is carried out to a pre-approved sampling plan, in a strictly controlled environment, and Renold has testing capability that can simulate various duty cycles to meet customer testing requirements.
Renold has installations in operation worldwide.
